Downtown Hong Kong: Christmas, 2017
A collection of photos taken in Hong Kong in December 2017
“Concrete jungle” is a perfect phrase that best describes the unique landscape of this particular country. (Yes, a country) These skyscrapers often take the limelight and draw visitors’ attention to them. It is easy to take Hong Kong as just a small city with a beautiful array of buildings. So, we might overlook that beneath this mighty skyline, Hong Kongers are very much alive. In this collection, I push all the grand towers into the background of blue winter and bring out the lives of the local dwellers – the bustling street, the people navigating around under neon signs, a man praying for a better thing in his life, and lovers cherishing their love in this magnificent metropolis.
